Choosing an outfit for your gender reveal party can actually be a lot of fun. I mean, how often do you get the chance to wear pink and blue clothing without looking like you’re a little too excited about Pantone’s 2016 colors of the year?

The dress I chose for my gender reveal party was off-the-shoulder with blue stripes and lined with pink pom poms. Sounds awful, right? It actually ended up being the perfect gender reveal outfit. Our gender reveal party was in June and took place poolside in my parent’s backyard so this little sundress was beyond perfect. I was also obsessed with my mom’s dress. I just love the pink stripe down the back!
It actually took me a while to find attractive pink and blue dresses. Hopefully one of these gender reveal dresses will work for you and you won’t have to spend endless hours scrolling…

How to shop for your Gender Reveal Party Dress
Something to keep in mind – generally, mamas-to-be find out the sex of the baby between 16 and 20 weeks so even though you may be beginning to show you might not need to buy a maternity dress just yet. And even if you are already starting to pop you can still choose a flowy or loose-fitting dress so you can wear it after the baby too.
If you don’t want to purchase a dress for your reveal there are still plenty of other ways you can have fun with the pink and blue theme. We purchased cute little pink and blue glasses that said “Team Girl” or “Team Boy” and they were definitely fun for pictures! You could also wear white and wear pink and blue accessories!
