One of the things we absolutely love about this modern woodland inspired nursery is that it was designed to grow with the child. The key to creating a bedroom your child won't outgrow is to use a neutral and more sophisticated color palette and purchase multipurpose furniture. Choosing a crib that will transition into a toddler bed is a great way to think ahead and possibly save you money down the road.
What inspired your nursery design?
We wanted to create a girly, whimsical room for Penelope that she could also grow in. We started with her white crib and “Magical Forest” crib sheets from Pehr as inspiration. I loved the little animals wearing flower crowns in the crib sheets so I decided to go with that theme.
I ordered prints from Etsy, added in greenery (plants, cactus, hanging plants) and wooden bookshelves to create a forest vibe. We love how it turned out! The all white is calming, clean and we can always add different pops of color in as she grows.
