I wanted to re-share this post from my gender reveal party last year because I've recently found so many cute gender reveal dress ideas that are perfect for summer and they will not stay in stock!

What to Wear to Your Gender Reveal Party
You can actually have a lot of fun with choosing your gender reveal outfit. I mean, how often do you get the chance to wear pink and blue clothing without looking like you're a little too excited about Pantone's 2016 colors of the year?
I'm a big fan of choosing a dress (especially for summer) that has both pink and blue in the print that way you are prepared for a boy or a girl! The dress I chose for my gender reveal party was off-the-shoulder with blue stripes and lined with pink pom poms. My exact dress is no longer in stock but you can find a similar one here.
Something to keep in mind – generally, mamas-to-be find out the sex of the baby between 16 and 20 weeks so even though you may be beginning to show you might not need to buy a maternity dress just yet. And even if you are already starting to pop you can still choose a flowy or loose-fitting dress so you can wear it after the baby too.
It actually took me a while to find attractive pink and blue dresses. Hopefully one of these gender reveal dresses will work for you and you won't have to spend endless hours scrolling…

What to Have Your Guests Wear to Your Gender Reveal
You can have your guests wear the color they think the baby will be OR have them wear what they want the baby to be.
If you don't want to purchase a dress for your reveal there are still plenty of other ways you can have fun with the pink and blue theme. We purchased cute little pink and blue glasses that said “Team Girl” or “Team Boy” and they were definitely fun for pictures! You could also wear white and wear pink and blue accessories!
